This unique conference is for transit planners, managers, researchers and GIS industry experts who are interested in sharing ways to use geographic and spatial analysis in transit planning, operations, and marketing to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

The conference will take place entirely at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza Hotel, an ideally located at 1001 14th St NW (14th & K), Washington DC 20005. Take the Orange or Blue Line to the McPherson Square Station; exit the station using the 14th Street / Franklin Square Exit; walk North 1 block. The Mission of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) is to promote innovation and progress in transportation through research. In an objective and interdisciplinary setting, TRB facilitates the sharing of information on transportation practive and policy by researchers and practitioners: stimulates research and offers research management services that promote technical excellence; provide expert advice on transportation policy and programs; and disseminates research broadly and encouraged their implementation. TRB is one of siz major divisions of the National Research Council – a private, nonprofit institution that is the principal operating agency of the National Academies in providing services to the government, the public, and the scientific and engineering communities.
