Dot Map of U.S. Population

Using U.S. and Canadian Census data, Brandon Martin-Anderson has developed a Census Dotmap of population patterns that is not restricted by boundaries such as roads, state lines, or other borders. A Python script was used to generate data points from U.S. Census block-level calculations. Each dot on the map corresponds to a single person.
